Google promises to inflict sanctions on the websites abusing advertizing for especially importunate formats. Cleaning will begin on January 10, 2017, and the first who will get it – the owners of resources with full screen banners and pop-up widgets.
Representatives of search engine accurately defined properties of importunate and irritant advertizing:
1. it closes the main content and is displayed right after transition to the website or after a while;
2. it occupies all screen, and for receiving access to content it is necessary to close the pop-up window manually;
3. it forces out the useful content on the second screen or below, completely occupying the first.
Content removed from the user by advertizing usually is ranged worse, than the competitors who thought of users.
Also properties of banners for which punishment won’t come were isolated:
it carries out the information task, for example – informs on use of cookies for tracking visitors;
it is necessary for transmission of a contact information or completion of registration on the website;
it occupies only a part of the screen, for example – a horizontal banner of advertizing of applications.
Google declared fight to on-page advertizing in the fall of 2016, having notified that sanctions expect only those who advertize other applications. Other goods and services didn’t enter criteria of violations, for any reason. Later AdSense provided a new format of mobile advertizing – interpage frames and units overlays. As it is combined with a line item of the company, it is unknown – perhaps, Google reads the advertizing of unostentatious.
